Here’s what travelers said on the last Black Travel Census, here’s what we’ve done!
"I love to travel. I feel that it is important to experience different cultures. It is necessary to understand that Americans are not the only people on this Earth. I believe that travel brings about change and self-love. I am grateful for my recent experiences."
"It fills my heart with joy to see black travelers exploring the world and changing the narrative for our culture; myself include. Although, I haven't traveled much internationally I am sure that there is story to be heard or told and I want to make it goal for that to happen for me and my community."
"I'm completely open to exploring everything I can while I can. I'm single, childless, and vegan, and call me crazy, but it's exciting to try to see how other vegans do lunch dinner, or even breakfast around the world. I've sailed over the valley of the Kings in a hot air balloon in Egypt and encountered monkeys in Nicaragua and been serenaded on a gondola in Venice and toured ventured into caves in a speedboat in Malta. I've even been in a submarine in the red Sea. I'm here for it. Wherever the Lord allows me to float into, I'm there for it all. I've found my true love and it's travel."
Based on the data we've gathered from Black Travel Census 2018, 32.33% of our respondents were Travel Newbies. Let's see how it goes for 2022.
